Jet Engine Simulator

Terms of Service

Effective [Month Day, Year]

These terms are an agreement between you and [Your full legal name, or your business name if you register one], Alberta, Canada ("we", "us"), the operator of Jet Engine Simulator at [yourdomain.com]. By playing, creating an account or buying something, you agree to them and to the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the game.

1. The game

Jet Engine Simulator is a game. Its engines, physics, prices and numbers are simplified approximations made for entertainment. Nothing in it is engineering, safety or technical advice, and it must not be used to design, build, maintain or operate any real engine, aircraft or equipment.

2. Accounts

3. Fair play and conduct

You agree not to:

We may rename or remove usernames, remove scores, reset leaderboards, and suspend or close accounts that break these rules. If you find a security problem, please tell us at [support@yourdomain.com] instead of using it.

4. What you post

You keep any rights you have in what you post. By posting an engine to the leaderboards you give us a free, worldwide permission to store, display and share your username, that engine's build and its scores as part of the game, and other players can view and load engines you post. Deleting your account removes them.

5. Purchases

6. Refunds

Because Pro and the Style pack unlock immediately, you ask us to start supplying the digital content right away when you buy, and you acknowledge that, where the law allows this, you then lose any statutory "cooling-off" right to cancel (for example the 14-day right of withdrawal in the EU and UK).

Our promise anyway: if something you bought does not work, or you bought it by mistake, email [support@yourdomain.com] within 14 days of the purchase and we will refund it. After that, refunds are at our discretion, except where the law requires them. When a purchase is refunded, or reversed through a chargeback or dispute, what it unlocked is removed from the account.

Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under consumer protection law where you live.

7. Our content

The game, its code, graphics, sounds, text and design belong to us or our licensors and are protected by copyright and other laws. Apart from the licence to play and use what you bought, these terms give you no rights in them.

8. Changes and availability

We work to keep the game running, but we do not promise it will always be available, error-free or unchanged. We may update, change or stop features, and we may need to reset leaderboards. If we ever close the game or remove paid content, we will give reasonable notice where we can, and will provide refunds where the law requires.

9. Disclaimer

To the fullest extent the law allows, the game is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Some places do not allow these exclusions, so some of them may not apply to you.

10. Limits on our liability

To the fullest extent the law allows: we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data or goodwill; and our total liability for any claim relating to the game is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and CA$10. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

11. Ending this agreement

You can stop using the game and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close your account if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, or if the law requires it. If we close your account for breaking these terms, you will not be entitled to a refund except where the law requires one.

12. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, and the courts of Alberta have jurisdiction, except that if you are a consumer you may also have the right to bring a claim in the courts where you live and to rely on its mandatory consumer laws. Before going to court, please contact us so we can try to sort it out.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will change the date at the top, and for important changes we will tell you in the game before they take effect. If you keep using the game after that, the new terms apply.
